National Capital Charity Classic
On Friday, August 14th 2015, Hyperline staff had the privilege of gathering with 140 golfers from the Ottawa Valley to come together and celebrate the 2nd Annual National Capital Charity Classic. This tournament was held at one of Ottawa’s most prestigious courses; The Canadian Golf and Country Club. The day began cloudy and wet, but the sun didn’t hide for long and we were able to enjoy the day with many familiar faces. We were privileged to meet several Ottawa Senators who came out to show support and help raise money for The Sens Foundation. Among the Senators in attendance were Mark Stone, Cody Ceci, Kyle Turris, Mark Methot, Patrick Wiercioch, and Jean-Gabriel Pageau. Not only are these gentleman great hockey players, but it was evident they knew their way around the course as well. Above all, they were welcoming, friendly, and down to earth.
Hyperline was proud to support the National Capital Charity Classic by sponsoring a hole for the “Closest to the Pin” challenge. Hyperline’s involvement with the Ottawa Senators has grown over the years. It started off with a love and a passion for our hometown team and quickly escalated to billboard signage in the Canadian Tire Centre, rink board advertisements with the affiliated Sensplex arenas, and becoming Club Bell season ticket holders.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the Ottawa Senators Foundation for hosting us at The Canadian Golf and Country Club. Also, a special shout out to Faces Magazine; this tournament would not have gone so smoothly without the support and hard work of all the men and women who spent their time organizing this wonderful event.
GO SENS GO!
